On the 5th December 2025 Johanna Röhrig invites her audience to a special concert in the Salle Rameau at the Maison de la Musique near Paris.

The program combines music and spirituality in a haunting musical path that unfolds around Johann Sebastian Bach’s famous Chaconne from Partita No. 2 – as a reflection on grief, resurrection and human knowledge.

Together with the Trio Vocal Ramages and the Chœur mixte Les goûts réunis, Johanna Röhrig interprets works by Bach and Knut Nystedt – from the Erbarme Dich to Immortal Bach – as well as an extraordinary reinterpretation of the Chaconne for violin and choir based on an arrangement by Volker Preuss, inspired by the research of Helga Thoene and under the baton of Brazilian maestro Bianca Maretti.

An evening between sound, faith and knowledge.
