On the 10th In March, Johann Jacob Nissen and Johanna, the duo behind “24 Strings”, invite to a special concert evening in the Bergedorfer Schloss and take their audience on an intimate journey through the epochs of music history.
The unique combination of classical guitar and the expressive violin promises a subtle and versatile sound experience. From the baroque masterpieces of Correlli to the famous Arpeggione sonata by Schubert, the ensemble offers to experience different musical epochs, as a connecting factor the musical emotionality of the various works is the focus.
There are songs from Schubert’s “Winterreise”, presented in sensitive arrangements for guitar and violin, as well as emotionally interpreted songs by Brahms. “24 Strings” takes you on an intimate and authentic journey full of music through well-known masterpieces and lesser-known compositions.
