On the 14th September the violinist Johanna Röhrig invites you to an extraordinary solo evening at the St Peter’s Church in Marlborough (UK).
In an intensive cycle for violin solo, she spans the arc from the baroque sound world of the beaver and Bach to the expressive soundscapes of Eugène Ysaÿe. The program impressively shows the stylistic and technical range of the instrument – from meditative intimacy to virtuoso expressiveness.
In the special atmosphere of the church room, a deep, immediate listening experience is created.
Admission is free, donations are requested.
