In June 2025, the Hamburg Chamber Opera presented Bellini's great opera I Puritani in concert at the Allee Theatre. Under the direction of Ettore Prandi, the Rungholt Ensemble Hamburg played music in full cast and made Bellini's colourful score sound impressively.

VITA

After graduating with a DipRAM Diploma and Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London (Prof. Rodney Friend), Johanna Röhrig is now completing her Artist Diploma at the HfMT Hamburg while performing internationally as a recitalist and soloist.

Highlights of the past years include her debut at the MUK Luebeck with the Orchester des Wandels, as well as engagements with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of St John’s in England. During the pandemic, she appeared in a television broadcast with the PKOW Wernigerode and in recitals on the NDR Kultur Klassik à la Carte broadcast with pianist Hubert Rutkowski.

The multiple scholarship holder (Thörl Stiftung/Rogler Stiftung a.o.) plays a violin by Andrea Guarneri from 1686, on loan from the Beares International Violin Society in London, and proves her interest beyond classical music in cross-genre projects of her own design, supported by the Deutsche Musikrat, GVL, YAMAHA a.o.
