Storytelling Piano – Successful season finale of a special concert tour in Augsburg
With the season finale of Storytelling Piano by the German pianist and composer Dennis Alexander Volk, a successful concert series ended on the 14th June in Augsburg, which delighted the audience in some of the most renowned concert halls in Germany.
As a recurring special guest of this series, Johanna Röhrig performed at the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, the Glocke Bremen, the Liederhalle Stuttgart, the Gasteig Munich and numerous other concert halls in the course of the season,
The innovative concert format combines music and storytelling to create an extraordinary concert experience and opens up new access to the neoclassical works by Volk for the audience. From a long-term collaboration, Johanna Röhrig co-designed the program with sensitive solo contributions, some of which together with the Venezuelan cellist Daniel Arias.
After a successful first tour, the project goes into the next round in September. With further concerts throughout Germany, Storytelling Piano will continue its musical journey and once again inspire a wide audience with its unique concept.
